My older brother, Robert C. Visser, AIA, 53, born in French Morocco to Rudy and Annelies Visser, died January 27, 2010 in a car accident in Centerport NY.   Bob, registered Architect, graduated Wyomissing Area HS (PA) and Pratt Institute (NY).  1993, he founded Visser Software Services in NYC and served the Facility Management world, reaching throughout the US, Europe, and Asia.

Robert was a kind, patient man with a tremendous depth of vision and a heart of gold.  Everyone who met him was inspired to be a better person and to live their lives to the fullest. He will remain in the hearts and minds of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by both parents, wife Heidi, daughters Julie and Kristi, sister Verena Aibel (Hackensack NJ), brother Kenneth Visser Damascus MD).  Memorial service is private.  Donations may be made to the scholarship fund at Waldorf School of Garden City “in memory of Robert C. Visser”  sent to 225 Cambridge Ave., Garden City, NY 11530 or online www.waldorfgarden.com.

Dear Bob; my dearest boss:

Heard that you went ahead of us to another journey. As life is full of

surprises, I wish you have a great trip filled with joys and excitements.

Even we cannot see you now, but we still can feel you deep in our hearts.

We know you will be around and make us laugh with jokes even in difficult

situation. Because you are a wonderful person with positive thinking that

has helped us pass through all good and bad times together. So Heidi and

the girls will not be alone. They will have us & our hearts with them to see

you take off to the great journey. We will be with them, don’t you worry.

Bob, you are our great boss. We love you and treasure the opportunity

and experience you had given to us to make us who we are today. We are

proud to be one of VSSI team.  You and Heidi have such beautiful minds

to open your arms and your hearts to all kinds of people, including foreign

students like us. That is why you have so many friends. Your integrity and

character of VSSI reflect on us. They remain in us all.

To your great journey. To our friendship.

LOVE;

Your Thai friends
