Overview


Verena Visser Aibel is a Visionary, Shaman, XPR Advisor, Integrity Coach, Corporate Trainer & Consultant. Verena is also the Founder and President of Vibrant Visions International (VVI), a global coaching and consulting enterprise. A Change Agent, Verena’s open and enthusiastic demeanor quickly disarms and engages even the most recalcitrant of traditionalists or rebels. Being an excellent listener and communicator, Verena excels at finding common ground as she readily hears, and reflects back, the “still quiet voice” that eludes so many. Her highly diverse background and global perspective has Verena with the privilege of having empowered over 270 leaders, visionaries, and other professionals worldwide who craved order AND wished to naturally find their true voice... vibrantly.

 

Verena’s key brainstorming strategy is to ask: “Is there another way of looking at it?” She also employs a highly successful and interactive "Top Ten List” approach at capturing salient ideas, messages or material for training, educational, or promotional purposes. In less than four years, Verena's Top Tens articles have appeared in over 260 publications and have reached an estimated 800,000 online subscribers around the globe.

 

Verena’s lifelong commitment to knowledge underscores all her endeavors. She was one of the first students at Pennsylvania State University to pursue the Communication Studies Major and subsequently graduated with a BA/Communication Studies with Honors. Her area of specialization was Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from. In 2001, Verena became a Certified Coach Training Program (CTP) Graduate from the Coach University (CoachU), an International Coaching Federation (ICF) approved program.

 

Verena is an active member of the International Coaching Federation, New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO), New Jersey Professional Coaches Association (NJPCA), and the Women’s Institute of the Bergen Community College.

  • Verena provides business consulting, coaching, and customized training in such areas as leadership development, communication, transition strategies, and work-life balance (stress-management) and wellness.

  • Managed various database management projects for a leading facilities management firm (Archibus) with a client base which spanned the US, Europe, and Asia.
  • Made collections calls to delinquent clients and secured commitments to pay from majority.

  • Assisted over 40 managers and their families create a personal and professional vision and strategy for their temporary relocation to over 20 different countries.
  • Provided cultural resource services, project management and marketing services.
  • Conducted extensive needs assessment interviews and reports and facilitated “ITAP International’s Culture in the Workplace Questionnaires,”

Gruner & Jahr International (1994 – 1996)

International Marketing Consultant (NYC)

  • Managed various marketing campaigns for the U. S. Marketing Director of one of Europe’s leading publishing and printing houses.
  • Acted as the liaison for the German publications and U.S. Advertisers. Included extensive letter writing, telephone follow-up, marketing piece design and execution, and mail campaign preparation and execution.

 

Treuhandanstalt ("German Trust Agency") (1992 – 1994)

Assistant Group Manager / Business Consultant – Government Agency (Berlin, Germany)

  • Key member who assisted with the establishment and management of a quality control group project to develop comprehensive and verifiable databases of real estate properties and businesses connected with the former East German political parties and organizations and to expedite the processing of restitution claims.
  • Supervised and trained a diverse staff of interns from the former East Germany, West Germany, and from other countries, in research techniques, teambuilding, interpersonal communication, quality work methods, and computer skills.

 

Other Relevant Information:

 

Rotary International Scholarship: Received a Rotary International Scholarship in order to participate in the Fall 1991 pilot Group Study Exchange program to meet with business, industry, and new municipal leaders throughout the former East Germany. Verena coordinated pre-departure training, briefings, industry tours, and information gathering on Texas & Germany.
